Our client base comprises blue-chip corporates and major investment banks through to small to medium sized national and local organizations. We specialize in placing candidates on a permanent or contract basis in the following disciplines: accountancy and finance, banking, operations, legal and compliance, information technology, oil and gas, sales and marketing, human resources, supply chain and procurement, support and administration.

Due to expansion plans, the European and Americas marketing department is currently seeking a new addition to its team to assist in the development, support and implementation of marketing and communications projects for the company's Brazilian offices.

About the Role:

Reporting to the Managing Director, Brazil and the Marketing Manager (based in Paris) the Marketing Executive will be responsible for working with the Marketing Manager/Managing Director and the Brazilian business to implement Brazil’s recruitment division marketing plans; providing marketing services and sales support to the whole of the Brazilian business. The Marketing Executive will also be responsible for the administration and management of a number of cross-territory and cross-divisional marketing activities.

Although the Marketing Executive will be the sole marketing resource based in Brazil you will be part of a 50+ global marketing team.

Key responsibilities will include:

Working with the Marketing Manager/Managing Director to implement the annual marketing plans for the Brazil business you will take direct account management responsibility for all day-to-day marketing activity. This will include activities across the following channels:
  • Delivery of direct marketing (both print and on-line) campaigns to support candidate and client retention and attraction strategies (including delivery of e-marketing campaigns, measuring results and implementing learning into new campaigns)
  • Managing the marketing budget: monitoring spend reports and presenting quarterly marketing reviews
  • Development and maintenance of relationships with key institutes, associations and clients
  • Management of client paid and corporate advertising (local, national and international press and trade publications) from booking to artwork production
  • Collateral production (including brochure ware, surveys, flyers, white papers) to underpin the delivery of the marketing plan
  • Organisation of exhibitions, seminars and events to support the delivery of marketing plans and promote the Robert Walters brand
  • Working with the Digital Marketing Team to manage all online initiatives including job boards, website updates through a Content Management System, SEO, social media and intranet presence
  • Public relations: working with the PR agency to write articles and white papers with a regional perspective and monitoring results
  • Competitor analysis
  • The management and delivery of ad-hoc marketing projects as specified by the Marketing Manager/Managing Director
Key requirements:
  • Marketing degree
  • Fluent English and Portuguese
  • 1-2 years' experience in a marketing role; recent university graduates with the right attitude will be considered
  • Ability to influence key stakeholders at all levels
  • Ability to multi-task and work/communicate with people across all levels (from junior staff to senior management)
  • Commercial acumen
  • Previous exposure to all elements of the marketing mix
  • Strong project management, copywriting and administration skills
  • Previous experience working within a financial services, professional services or sales environment would be advantageous
