CONTENT WRITER

São Paulo/SP

PayPal is seeking a professional Content Writer with a strong background and training in web content writing and ability to write effectively for the Brazilian Portuguese market.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Technical writing, Marketing Communication, or related field
• Excellent oral, written, and editing skills in Brazilian Portuguese and English
• Ability to develop content that supports objectives with minimal direction
• Ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional design and product teams
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Experience working with a US-based company
• Experience in B2B e-commerce, financial services, payments, or retail industries
• Minimum 5 years of professional writing experience, with 3 years writing web content
• Ability to craft creative solutions to enable a better user experience
• Professionalism in all aspects of daily tasks
• Position requires excellent written and oral communication in Brazilian Portuguese and English and the ability to collaborate effectively with user interface designers, visual designers, and product teams. Also requires experience working with US companies and willingness to collaborate with colleagues in US west coast time zone and other regions of the world.

Responsibilities include:

• Apply knowledge of the Brazilian Portuguese market and communication style to enable effective collaboration with user experience team to increase Brazilian comprehensive of the PayPal business
• Adapt US source product content for the Brazilian Portuguese market
• Write compelling marketing copy for the Brazilian Portuguese market
• Create compelling content based on direction from product management and your understanding of the Brazilian cultural preferences
• Collaborate with user interface and visual designers, product managers, and developers to develop compelling user experiences
• Present your work and communicate your content strategy to colleagues
• Understand and adhere to PayPal brand and legal requirements
• Understand product life cycle, milestones, and deliverables
• Communicate effectively on the phone and in person across time zones. Early morning and evening meetings may be required to maintain contacts with team in the US and other regions of the world
