This strategic position will have direct bottom line responsibility for the marketing function of our Brazil office, reporting to the Regional Head of Marketing and the Managing Director of the office.
Scope:
- Creating overall marketing strategy for the office
- Hiring, training and management of Marketing Managers
- Ensuring that Marketing Managers develop and action highly profitable and creative marketing plans which include direct mail, internet marketing, email marketing and telemarketing under tight deadlines
- Ensure that Marketing Managers pursue marketing partnership arrangements
- Negotiate strategic partnerships for the office’s product line
- Create innovative direct mail and online marketing strategies
- Ensure that detailed response analysis is completed and integrated into the marketing process
- Manage vendor relationships for the office and ensure effective internal communication between marketing and other functions.
Requirements:
- Possess a good degree in Marketing or Business Management
- 2 years + Conference or B2B publishing marketing experience is essential
- Excellent management skills, with the ability to hire, coach and motivate staff effectively
- Exposure to financial management and data analysis
- Strong communication skills – verbal & written
- South American marketing experience preferred
- Fluent in English and Portuguese
