The role

Reporting to the General Manager of Brazil, the Marketing Analyst’s responsibilities will be to drive online and offline marketing initiatives to promote the site widely.


The right candidate will be able to think creatively about how to market the brand and the site in Brazil. He or she will be able to identify and create opportunities, prioritize them effectively with the General Manager and execute them efficiently and independently. He or she will also be responsible for managing interactions with the public, such as social media and blogs. Prior knowledge or experience in an online company or in the tourism industry are a strong plus, but not required.

Activities (sample):

Online marketing
  • Manage social media (Facebook, Twitter, etc.)
  • Manage ReclameAqui website
  • Manage company blog
  • Manage ClickSquared mailings
  • Advertise the site on festival websites
  • Write texts for search engine optimization
  • Identify potential partners for online marketing (e.g., aggregator sites)
Offline marketing and partnerships
  • Set up fairs and events (e.g., ABAV)
  • Set up partnerships with Tourism agencies
  • Set up outreach marketing (e.g., stands at shopping malls, etc.)
  • Create offline marketing materials (e.g., brochures, souvenirs, etc.)
Overall requirements
  • Ability to handle all tasks and activities mentioned above
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
  • Post-graduate degree preferred
  • Advanced spoken and written English
  • Creative marketing mindset
  • Prior experience in tourism or Internet a plus
