Role Summary/Purpose

A Marketing Leader is responsible for defining the marketing plan for a geography based on market analysis, coordinating the marketing activities within the ultrasound modality. Works on the Go To Market strategy to deliver customer satisfaction, and business results. It is also responsible to create monitor and executive business development activities aiming the profitable growth of the Ultrasound business in Latin America., such as territorial sales coverage, actions to increase demand gener

Essential Responsibilities

Strategic Marketing:
  • Using market analysis data and customer understanding based on Regional Marketing, Sales and Customer Demand, Industry Insight, Macro economical indicators, Healthcare trends, competitive analysis, Service needs and financial simulation
  • Identifying and analyzing trends, helping to create long-term plans and alternative strategic scenarios to identify growth opportunities for the business
  • Ensuring proper market segmentation is conducted and consequent product positioning is coherently maintained
  • Be the voice of local teams to Global Upstream Marketing to ensure that product strategy addresses market needsOperational Marketing – Definition of Marketing Plan
  • Customer: support product managers to build a strategy for collaboration with universities and reference site
  • Competition: work with marketing intelligence processes to have up-to-date information on competitive marketing
  • Company: develop overall plan for executing the strategy relative to the portfolio/ segment/ products by interacting with other GE Healthcare businesses and/ or Care Areas
  • Support international marketing activities such as exhibitions, seminars, user group meetingsselling tools coordination...training/ education...Promotion
  • Provide feedback for the WWPP based on a clinical application information and considering the competitive roadmap, provide necessary input for Growth PlaybookQuality Specific Goals: .Aware of and comply with the GE Healthcare Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type/position.Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines.Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required
Qualifications/Requirements
  • Relevant degree or professional experience (MBA or engineering degree preferred)
  • 3+ years professional experience in B-to-B and or B-to-C Marketing
  • Very good technical and/ or clinical knowledge
  • Language proficiency in either Portuguese or Spanish, and English
  • Good project management skills,
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong results-orientation

Desired Characteristics
  • Experience in medical industry, desirably ultrasound.
  • Other languages in addition to English, desirably Portuguese/Spanish.
