The Google Marketing team is responsible for marketing the company's exceptional product portfolio to end users, partners and customers on a worldwide basis. We have a variety of roles, including product marketing, creative services, event management, quantitative marketing and field marketing.
The role: Head of Marketing, Latin America
It is the mission of Google marketing to embrace the strength of Google’s products and pace of innovation to inspire an audacious new model for marketing that is as entrepreneurial, data-driven and respectful of our users as Google itself. As Head of Marketing for Latin America, you will be a part of a leadership Americas marketing team responsible for leading the efforts to market the Google brand and product range to consumers and advertisers in the region.
The Head of Marketing will build and inspire a world-class marketing organization. The position requires a highly collaborative individual who can effectively partner with regional and global Sales, Product Management and PR teams. You will be responsible for managing both business to business and consumer marketing in a fast paced, highly innovative environment.
Responsibilities:
- Build and inspire a world-class marketing team
- Develop, agree and deploy regional marketing strategy. Identify areas of the business (products and/or geographies) where marketing activities can significantly move the needle and conduct fact-based experiments to test different approaches. Set consistent strategic direction and strategies for Customer Acquisition, Retention and Customer Communication.
- Serve as a key regional thought leader charged with developing and implementing a plan that meets the varying needs of the markets in the region as well as the express goals and objectives of the Company.
- For markets new to Google, introduce Internet technology, and educate potential users about Google-branded products in particular, to drive adoption and broaden product usage with the end-goal of increasing revenue generation through online ad spend.
- Represent team at Americas Marketing Team and the Latin America Management Group.
- Masters or MBA degree preferred, with strong academic record.
- At least 10 years of Online, Consumer and Business to Business marketing experience.
- Experience working in or with multiple countries and has successfully led a high caliber marketing team in the region in a technology or consumer goods company.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate well and build a strong rapport with people at all levels and across cultures.
- Deep expertise in outbound marketing, product marketing and general quantitative, analytical marketing disciplines in search, online advertising or web publishing areas.
- Exceptional leadership skills.
- Fluency in English, Spanish and Portugese.
